The Product Manager is the manager of the Product. Usually, it has three types:

3. B2C Product Manager

Internal Product Manager:

Any organization who actually develop products to use within their own organization. These Products are developed by the Internal Product Manager. Internal Product Manager is a great role because here you are also working as a project manager. It has a very limited amount of users and you might know each of them. It is easy to gather needs and requirements. Launch and release are very frequent by Internal Product Manager.

B2B Product Manager:

The Product Manager works for a company that actually builds products for another company. This business segment called Business to Business. The target audience is limited in this segment. It is expensive and brand value has more importance with tight deadlines.

One who develops the product and another who uses the product to achieve some goals.

B2C Product Manager:

In this segment, the Product Manager has to develop the Product for a larger audience. The audience could be in lakhs or million. The product is meant for community uses. It must be widely accepted.

It would also bring the best product value experience.

It requires extensive user validation testing. The more users and it brings more revenue to the company. In order to make a global brand, B2C Product managers are highly responsible. However, the B2C Product Manager has to face the uncertainty, unable to prioritize the user needs because it has a million requirements. The B2C product manager has to manage multiple channels and platforms.

As per the need & time being, many kinds of Product Manager profiles are evolved but the above 3 types are the primary types of the Product Manager.
